Dave Stevinson

Dave Stevinson

Group Chief Executive Officer

With a 20-year background in leadership at several global technology firms and five years transforming regional distributors, Dave has a passion for software and is keen on data analytics and process automation in particular. He holds a BSc (Hons) from Lancaster University, an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and is on the Harvard Business School OPM programme. Dave was recognised by Bloomberg as a Breakaway CEO in the 2019 EMEA cohort and is a regional finalist in the EY 2021 Entrepreneur of the Year. He is a keen rackets and court tennis player.

Kumar Bhamidipati

Group Chief Operating Officer

With over 25 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across global multicultural environments, Kumar is adept at achieving sustainable business results. He has a proven track record for defining and delivering strategy, developing people, and managing transformational projects to improve business processes. Kumar is an avid cricket fan.

Dave Gooley

Dave Gooley

Group Finance Controller

A chartered accountant since 2011, Dave completed five years in audit with BDO in New Zealand before transferring to London. He has worked across a range of sectors and business sizes and has experience with both UK GAAP and IFRS reporting and consolidations for international groups. Before joining QBS in 2018, Dave was Group Financial Controller of a private-equity backed business.

Paula Reader

Paula Reader

Interim Group Head of Human Capital

Paula is a hands-on, results-orientated People Director with a track record of successfully creating and delivering pragmatic people solutions aligned to business strategies. She has extensive experience gained in fast-paced, multi-site, private, public and family-owned businesses including Boodles, Accenture, Lufthansa and Thames Water. Paula’s commercial yet compassionate approach has enabled her to lead and develop teams to deliver exceptional results and build trusted advisor relationships with business leaders. Paula is a Chartered member of the CIPD and has a BA (Hons) in Business Administration.

Steven Turner

Steven Turner

Group Legal Counsel

Steven is a qualified lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in a wide range of roles. He began his career as a litigator at international law firm Eversheds Sutherland working in their Manchester, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices. In 2018 he transitioned to an in-house role as the head of the legal and compliance team at telecommunications distributor Nycomm/Nimans. There he played a key role in the company’s sale to the Midwich Group, a UK PLC. Steven joined QBS in May 2022 and is responsible for overseeing all risk, compliance and governance matters across the organisation.

Caroline Easton

Group Head of Marketing

Caroline is a Chartered Marketer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors. She has 20 years’ director-level experience, predominantly within the IT sector, and has a passion for marketing, customer centricity and digital innovation. Her areas of specialism include strategy, sales and marketing alignment, omnichannel marketing and embedding customer centricity.

Group Head of IT

Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in all areas of IT, from ERP Systems, BI, Infrastructure, Strategy and Procurement. Jonathan has a proven track record of implementing complex projects throughout UK and Europe in various industries from E-comm, Distribution and Manufacturing. He is passionate about technology and how that can enhance and simplify how we operate in out day to day.

Andreea Dumitrescu

Andreea Dumitrescu

Managing Director UK&I

Andreea has worked at QBS since 2010 and is experienced across the business, with hands-on expertise in cross-functional team leadership, strategic sourcing, IT procurement, supplier management and business operations. She possesses a track record of achievements and a proven ability to increase productivity while building successful partnerships. Her BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, combined with the MBA in Digital Innovation Management from Brunel Business School, have enabled her to maximize efficiency and generate sustainable growth.

Marcus Denner has been working in various positions in the IT industry since graduating with a degree in business informatics in 2004. He has joined the QBS Software GmbH team 2013, first as Key Account Manager, then from 2016 on as Head of Sales, and since 2022 as Managing Director Europe. Together with the managing directors, Marcus has developed QBS Software GmbH into one of the leading non-standard distributors in Europe.

Colin Lee

Colin Lee

Group Head of People Operations

Colin has over 20 years’ experience in diverse roles across business operations and HR in the IT industry. He works closely with the senior leadership team, providing end to end HR business advice, and operational support. With an impressive record of achievements, Colin has led HR functions to successfully deliver high quality services, ranging from organisational restructures and TUPE transfers, to the implementation of revised terms and conditions and new pay and grading structures.

Therese Stevinson

Therese Stevinson

Group Sustainability & Diversity Officer

Responsible for both the ESG and DEI programmes in QBS, Therese has a background in corporate identification and communication for a number of public sector and private companies. Therese supports the local community with several pro bono projects and is extremely passionate about sustainability and carbon neutrality. Therese has been the driving force behind QBS becoming independently certified as carbon neutral in 2021 and achieving a high score on the B Corporation impact assessment.

Manuela Hecht

Manuela Hecht

Human Resources Manager

Manuela has been working in HR for more than 20 years and has worked for both large corporations and small SMEs in various industries. In August 2016, she found her way to QBS Software. She built up an extensive HR department there and looks after both the management and the employees in all matters relating to employment law. Manuela likes to be in contact with people and enjoys the versatility of her tasks.

Head of Purchasing

Michael first came into contact with the IT industry as a lateral entrant in 1998 and after 10 years, most recently as Senior Purchasing Manager, moved to QBS Software GmbH as Head of Purchasing in September 2014. In addition to the challenging tasks in purchasing, he appreciates the worldwide contact with a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers.
Benjamin Domberger

Benjamin Domberger

Regional Manager DACH

As a classic lateral entrant, Benjamin has been at home in the IT industry for 7 years now. He has passed through all stages from purchasing to sales and has now been working as Regional Manager DACH since July 2022. He has a degree in business administration and, after several years in the wine industry, found his passion in software sales. Benjamin loves the close contact with our customers from the DACH region and the intensive cooperation with his team.
Marlene Fürst

Marlene Fürst

Group Lead Renewal Management

After graduating from high school, Marlene started her dual training as a businesswoman for office communication at a software publisher for German public authorities. She has remained loyal to the software industry ever since. In 2013, her path led her to QBS Software GmbH as Sales Assistant & Purchasing Manager and, due to her always immeasurable commitment, she has meanwhile held the position of Group Lead Renewal Management since November 2021.

Arend Dippenaar

Arend Dippenaar

Head of Finance

Arend is originally from South Africa and met his future German wife on his trip to Europe after university. During his career he has worked in various finance positions in both the UK and Germany. He joined QBS Software GmbH in March 2021.
He likes to spend his free time watching sports and cooking with his family.
Anabel Schumann

Head of Accounting

Nach ihrer Ausbildung zur Reiseverkehrskauffrau und ihrem Ethnologie-Studium war Anabel zunächst in der Touristik tätig. Die Geburt ihrer beiden Töchter hat Anabel 2011 zum Anlass genommen, ihren Weg in den Finanzbereich in der IT-Branche zu suchen. Durch das rasante Wachstum des damaligen Start-Ups hat sie Schritt für Schritt die Buchhaltung aufgebaut. Seit der Fusion zur QBS Software GmbH begegnet Anabel immer neuen Herausforderung mit Unterstützung ihres Teams.
Privat engagiert sich Anabel mit ihrem Hund Alva leidenschaftlich als Therapie-Begleithund-Team „Sinneshund“.
Alexandra Maierhofer

Alexandra Maierhofer

Marketing Executive

Since graduating with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Applied Sciences Munich in 2013, Alexandra has pursued her passion for marketing. After years in the B2C sector, she returned to the B2B sector when she joined QBS Software, where she has been working as a Marketing Executive since March 2021.

QBS Software was founded in 1987. In 2001 we celebrated record growth by opening our new London HQ. Since 2019, our parent company, QBS Technology Group, has been carefully acquiring companies that add value to our customers and extend our European presence.
